What changed
Offering memoranda, leases, amendments and operating statements attach to the deal. When you open it six weeks later, the paperwork that produced the numbers is still next to them.
Why it matters
This is the groundwork everything since was built on. Before a document could be read, extracted from, or cited in an abstract, it had to be somewhere the deal could see it.
